ǂAriseb

ǂAriseb , also Kannamab , († 1837 ) was the first captain of the Veldschoendrager - Nama ( ǁHawoben-Nama )from around 1814 until his death in 1837. "Veldschoendrager" means something like wearing shoes for the field .

ǂAriseb was married to ǃNanis . Their son Hendrik Henricks ( ǃNaníb gaib ǂArisemab ) became his successor as captain after his death.
