ʻOʻua (also: Fonou-Foua , O-ooa ) is an island in the south of Haʻapai in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .

geography

The Motu is in the Lulunga area near Tungua and Luanamo . The island forms the western tip of a reef that extends to Lekeleka in the east.

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vavaʻu group, ʻOʻua is occasionally hit by cyclones .
