Resch

Resh (ריש) is the twentieth letter in the Hebrew alphabet . It has the numerical value 200.

history

The Hebrew Resch has the same historical background as the Phoenician Resh, from which the Greek Rho , the Latin R and the Arabic Rā ' emerged. The name of the letter is derived from the meaning "head".
