Ddāl is an Arabic letter that is part of the Urdu extended Arabic alphabet . It is derived from the Arabic letter Dal (د) by adding a superscript Ṭa (ط).

The sound value in Urdu is a voiced retroflex plosive ( IPA : [ɖ]). The letter is one of the three retroflex consonants in Urdu that do not exist in Arabic and have therefore been added to the original Arabic alphabet.

The ڈis also used in the Arabic alphabets of the Punjabi and Kashmiri languages , where it also stands for the voiced retroflex plosive.
