120 Wall Street is a skyscraper on Wall Street in New York City . The building was built by Buchman & Kahn in 1931 and, with its tapering “wedding cake” architecture, follows the building regulations of 1916. It is 122 meters high and has 34 floors. Located on Wall Street between Pine and South Streets, it is one of the oldest buildings in Lower Manhattan . The building is owned by Silverstein Properties , Inc. (SPI), who also owned the World Trade Center , which was destroyed on September 11, 2001 .

In 1992, the owner company SPI entered into a partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation , thereby establishing the first and only center for non-profit organizations . This provision leads to tax advantages and thus offers non-profit organizations cheap office space. In 2012, the tenants who were now in the building included the American Foundation for AIDS Research , the Asian American Federation , the National Urban League , The United Negro College Fund and The United Way of America .
