The 26th Bavarian Theater Days took place from May 25 to June 8, 2008 in Ingolstadt , which was the fourth time since 1986, 1993 and 2001, to host the Bavarian Theater Days , the largest Bavarian theater festival .

At the 26th Bavarian Theater Days, 28 theaters from Bavaria performed more than 40 productions of various genres and thus reached a total of 16,200 viewers over the fifteen days of the festival, which meant a capacity utilization of over 92 percent.
