The 30th Bavarian Theater Days took place from May 11th to 27th, 2012 in Augsburg under the motto Morgen Augsburg . For the second time since 1985 , the Fuggerstadt hosted the Bayerische Theatertage , the largest Bavarian theater festival of the year.

In a period of 17 days, almost 60 plays were shown at four venues at the Bavarian Theater Days 2012 under the motto “Morgen Augsburg”. 35 ensembles performed pieces of various kinds, including classics such as Die Räuber by Friedrich Schiller or Effi Briest by Theodor Fontane , but also modern pieces like Nothing: What is Important in Life by Janne Teller . A total of over 16,000 visitors came to the performances.

The Great House of the Augsburg Theater

Four venues in Augsburg were used for the performances of the Bavarian Theatertage 2012: The Great House , the Hoffmannkeller and the temporary “ brechtbühne ” of the Augsburg Theater as well as the State Textile and Industry Museum (tim) .
