Wasserburg theater
The Wasserburg Theater has been run as a professional private theater under the direction of Uwe Bertram since 2003 . The house offers a year-round program in the areas of drama, music theater, dance and children's and youth theater.
The Wasserburger Theatertage was launched in the 2004/2005 season. This series enables other Bavarian private theaters and groups to present themselves with selected current productions in Wasserburg am Inn. Since the beginning, Udo Samel has opened the "Wasserburger Theatertage" every year . The patronage lies with the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art . A jury has been awarding two prizes since the 8th “Wasserburger Theatertage”. The award for the best production (endowed with 4,000 euros) is awarded by the Association of Free Performing Arts Bavaria eV, the award for the best performance (1,500 euros) by the district of Rosenheim .

The Wasserburg Theater has been a guest at the Bavarian Theater Days since 2012 . Further guest performances have taken the ensemble to Augsburg, Wunsiedel - Luisenburg Festival , Landsberg am Lech, Offenburg, Langen, Remscheid, Torgau and Putbus, among others .
The Wasserburg Theater is a member of the German Stage Association
