Sebastian Gerasch

Sebastian Gerasch (* 1979 in Darmstadt ) is a German actor .

Life

Sebastian Gerasch completed his acting studies from 2001 to 2005 at the Bavarian Theater Academy "August Everding" in Munich . During his apprenticeship, he appeared in first roles at the Bavarian State Theater .

After graduating, he received his first three-year permanent engagement at the Heilbronn Theater , where he was a permanent member of the ensemble from the 2005/06 season to the end of the 2007/08 season and played numerous roles in the classical and modern theater repertoire. His roles at the Heilbronn Theater included a. a. Biff in Death of a Salesman (2005-2006), Razmann in Die Räuber (2006), Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet (2006), Ferdinand in Kabale und Liebe (2007), Tom Wingfield in Die Glasmenagerie (2007) and the title role in Brecht 's Baal .

Gerasch has been working as a freelance actor since 2008. This was followed by theater engagements at the Ingolstadt Theater (2008), the Theater der Jugend in Vienna (2009), the Schauspiel Hannover (2009), the Schauspiel Frankfurt (2010) and the Wilhelma-Theater in Stuttgart (2010).

In the summer of 2011 he was a guest at the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival as the title hero in Don Karlos and as branch manager Frank in the travesty comedy Ganz Kerle . In the 2011/12 season he was a guest at the Landestheater Coburg . In the 2012/13 season he played the role of Pantalone in Arlecchino. The servant of two masters (director: Sven Grunert ) appeared for the first time at the Kammerspiele Landshut , where he has since been regularly involved in theater productions. In January 2014, he appeared alongside Heiko Ruprecht as editor Billing at the Stadttheater Fürth in Ibsen's drama Ein Volksfeind . In May 2014 he won the Acting Award at the 10th Wasserburger Theatertage for his role in the production of Hysterikon by the Kammerspiele Landshut.

He had other engagements at the Theater an der Rott (for the first time in 2014). In the 2015/16 season he made guest appearances at the Theater an der Rott alongside Markus Baumeister , Cornelia Pollak and Adela Florow as Doktor Rank in Nora . Gerasch also played with several independent theater ensembles in southern Germany (including the Kulturmobil Niederbayern). In productions of the independent ensemble "Theaterlust München" were u. a. Dagny Dewath and Anja Klawun his partners.

He also worked in several film and television productions, including a. in The Rosenheim Cops (since 2017, as "SpuSi" employee Franz) and Hubert without Staller (2019). Gerasch lives in Munich .
