Markus Baumeister
Markus Baumeister (born May 24, 1975 in Altötting ) is a German-Swiss actor in the stage and film sector.
Career
After graduating from high school and completing a carpenter's apprenticeship in Eggenfelden , Markus Baumeister, son of the sculptor Willi Baumeister (1927–1997) and his wife Elisabeth, began his acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna (1996–1997) and then studied from 1998 to 2002 from the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin .
He has German and Swiss citizenship .
During his training he played the Rosary in Shakespeare's Hamlet at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam in 2000/01 . In 2001 he took part in the first summer academy for Bavarian folk drama in Munich. Among others with lecturers such as Monika Baumgartner , the Well brothers from Biermösl Blosn and Michael Lerchenberg . He was discovered by Franz Xaver Bogner and engaged for the television series Munich 7 . From 2002 to 2004 he was a member of the ensemble at the State Theater in Mainz , in 2005 he worked at the theater in Oberhausen and from 2006 to 2007 in the ensemble at the Augsburg Theater . In addition, he never neglected film and television work.
He became known to a wide audience in the ZDF telenovela Paths to Happiness through the role of Henning Reichenbach , which he played until November 2008.
From 2008 to 2010 he played as a guest at the Bavarian State Theater .
