Eyjafjallajökull - The Unspeakable Volcano Film is a French comedy film released in 2013 ; Directed by Alexandre Coffre .

action

The Eyjafjallajökull , an Icelandic volcano that erupts just as Alain and Valérie to make the trip to their daughter to attend her wedding in Greece. But because clouds with ash particles could endanger the engines, airliners in large parts of Europe have to land at the nearest airport as a precaution.

The two are a divorced couple from France and absolutely hate each other. So begins an adventurous, almost unbelievable journey in order not to miss the wedding of her daughter Cécile. Sometimes they have to travel together and sabotage each other as much as possible, but also support each other if necessary. The journey leads via Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Albania to Corfu , in Greece - but not without problems. After the emergency landing in Munich , they rent a Porsche Panamera , which they destroy, run into the religious fanatic Ezéchiel, who is armed with a crossbow, steal a parcel delivery vehicle, a police car and a small airplane, and in Albania they accidentally shoot an eagle - Albania's heraldic animal - which also causes displeasure.

When entering Greece, Alain and Valérie again have to trick the police. They show up for the wedding just in time. For now they are relieved. In her love affair, Cécile is not deterred by her father's warnings, and her mother makes Alain's new partner Sylvie resentful with a sex confession. Eventually the two are arrested again and start arguing again.
