Lea Ralfs

Lea Ralfs (* 1987 in Hamburg ) is a German director. Together with the actress Judith Huber , she forms the artistic direction of the Pathos Theater in Munich.

Life

Lea Ralfs studied art history and German in Hamburg. 2013–2017 she studied directing at the Theater Academy Hamburg and worked there with Niels-Peter Rudolph , Eva-Maria Voigtländer and Friederike Heller, among others .

From 2010–2012 Ralfs was assistant director at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, where she worked with Andreas Kriegenburg , Dimiter Gotscheff and Stephan Kimmig, among others .

From 2012 to 2013 she worked as an assistant director at Theater Basel a. a. with Lutz, Schweigen and Solberg. During this time she produced her first own works such as "Die Weihnachtsgangs Auguste" at the Deutsches Theater and "Die Schneekönigin" and "Rien ne va Plus" at the Theater Basel. In 2014 the lieder recital "Ludwig II - a musical utopia" was staged at the Munich Volkstheater .

Ralfs has lived and worked in Munich as a freelance director since 2017. During this time, the works "Bonnie and Clyde" were created in the Marstallcafe of the Residenztheater , "The Metamorphosis of Dick Marko" in Pathos / Heavy Riders and "We Come" in the Central Theater in Munich.

In 2019 Lea Ralfs took over the artistic direction of the Pathos Theater.
