Hunger & Silk is a performance group from Munich .
history
The group around the two performers and actors Judith Al Bakri and Jochen Strodthoff was founded in 2006. Since then, the performance collective has developed various performance and theater projects, among others with the Pathos Theater Munich, the Schwankhalle Bremen, the Tafelhalle Nürnberg, the Theater im Pumpenhaus in Münster and the theater discounter in Berlin.
Her performance Taxi - A Triptych of Violence from 2009 was proposed for the Berlin Theatertreffen . In 2012 Hunger & Silk was awarded the George Tabori Prize and also appeared at the 30th Bavarian Theater Days in Augsburg .
