Action of the trailer
The two main characters in the film, Karla and Latifa, are both hungry but cannot find any food. Then Latifa defecates in a glass. While they are eating the contents of the glass, Karla and Latifa kiss. Then both vomit into each other's mouth.
Reactions to the trailer
The trailer for the film was one of the most viewed Internet videos worldwide in 2007. Shortly after its release, countless reaction videos were published on video portals in which people watching the trailer are filmed. Ordinary citizens and celebrities such as George Clooney were also described or shown in their reactions to the film in television programs . 2 Girls 1 Cup is considered to be the pioneer of so-called shock videos.
Coca-Cola had to end an advertising campaign in 2010 because an employee named the film on a Facebook page prompted a minor to search for the video.
