400 State Trail

The 400 State Trail is a 35 km long long distance hiking trail in the US state of Wisconsin . It is a multi-purpose trail that allows cycling , horse riding and snowmobiling in addition to hiking .

It runs along the Baraboo River from Elroy via Union Center , Wonewoc and La Valle to Reedsburg . The surface consists of grass and limestone.
