The four-story building is on Virginia Street in the southeast of central Glasgow. It was created around 1817 and has a classicistic design. The east-facing front facade is five axes wide. The entrance portal is designed with Ionic pilasters and cornices . The windows above the entrance portal are coupled to form triple windows and, in the case of the window on the first floor, are embedded in a segment-arched recess. The windows on the first floor are designed with ornamented architraves and simple cornices. A window cornice runs underneath . The facade closes with a stone balustrade .
