4Taste is a Portuguese rock band from Lisbon . It was founded in the spring of 2006 from David Gama (bass), Francisco Borges (drums), Luke d'Eça (vocals, guitar) and Nelson Patrão (guitar). All four musicians had previously played successfully in other bands.
Their debut album 4Taste was released on November 27, 2006 and reached platinum status on the first day and was number one on the album charts for three weeks . For more than 80,000 records sold, the band was later awarded quadruple platinum. In the summer of 2007 a live album was released in Campo Pequeno . In the same year the band performed in Switzerland for the first time abroad.
The next albums Ao Vivo No Campo Pequeno and Take 2 could not repeat the great success in the following two years. At the end of 2009 the band broke up again.
