The 50 km Ultramarathon Rodgau is one of the largest and most famous ultramarathons in Germany.

organization

The ultramarathon has been taking place in Rodgau since 2000 and is organized by the RLT Rodgau (Rodgau Lauftreff 1983 e.V.).

The route consists of a flat 5 km circuit, measured according to IAAF rules, with start and finish in the Gänsbrüh leisure facility, which has to be traversed ten times. It is partially paved and in other sections it consists of forest and field paths. The time measurement is done here by Bibchip .

At the 18th edition in January 2017, out of 980 registered athletes, 528 finally made it to the finish.
