Can, who was born and raised in Cologne-Vingst , lives haphazardly as a petty criminal with his best friend Hakan. When he falls in love with Mia, his world changes suddenly. But the past catches up with him and he has to pay a heavy price for his actions.

The basis for the film were interviews with 20 young people and the corresponding questionnaires. For this purpose, the young people between the ages of 16 and 27 reported in one-on-one conversations with an employee of their trust about the experiences and experiences that had shaped them most, so that the anonymity of the young people among one another could also be preserved.
It took eight months from the idea to the script, casting, preparations, shooting and post-production of the film. On this basis, a fictional main character was first created and the personal experiences gathered were embedded in the fictional character. Then this basic idea was written down under the guidance of a screenwriter.
The shooting of the film was carried out within five days during the summer vacation, as the young people were not involved in the school framework.
