A row of commercial buildings is located at 73-99 Commercial Street in the Scottish city ​​of Dundee in the council area of the same name . In 1965 the building was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

The row of buildings was decided in the course of the city modernization in 1871. The city architect William Mackison is responsible for the design . However, the construction was only carried out between 1876 and 1892 by various architects, including David Rhind , although details of Mackison's design were deviated from.

The four-story row of buildings is on the east side of Commercial Street across from the commercial buildings 68–110 Commercial Street in the center of Dundee. The line takes up the entire length between Murraygate and Albert Square with the McManus Galleries . At the south end the ensemble joins 51-65 Commercial Street .

The masonry is made of sandstone . The west-facing main facade is 31 axes wide, which are arranged in the scheme 4–7–7–7–5–1. Shops with shop windows are set up on the ground floor. The masonry on the first floor is rusticated . There, alternating triangular and segmented arched gables crown the windows. The windows on the second floor close with round arches with keystones resting on columns with composite capitals . On the central axes of the seven-axis-wide facades, balconies rest on ornamented consoles . Above, a cornice divides the facade horizontally. The final roofs are covered with slate.
