There is a bank building at 7 Gilmour Street in the Scottish town of Paisley in the Renfrewshire council area . In 1971 the building was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

description

The building is located in the city center between Paisley Gilmour Street Station and White Cart Water . It was built around 1910 based on a design by the J. Craig Barr & Cook architecture firm . Stylistically it shows the characteristics of the Beaux Arts Renaissance . The two outer sides of the east-facing front protrude slightly. There is an entrance door with a decorated architrave , frieze and protruding cornice . In run ionic Blend pillars over the remaining height of the building. The windows of the four-story building are arranged on four vertical axes. TheLattice windows are 15-part, with a 5 × 3 division. On the outside, a frieze protrudes on corbels . The building is used by Clydesdale Bank .
