Olli Rahnasto became a professional tennis player in 1982. In the course of his career, he barely had any notable successes in singles, which is why he specialized in men's doubles. He celebrated his first double title in 1985 in Cleveland with Leo Palin . He reached his next two finals in Athens in 1991 and in Long Island in 1992 . In Athens he was defeated at Menno Oosting's side against his compatriots Jacco Eltingh and Mark Koevermans in three sets. In Long Island he and Gianluca Pozzi had to admit defeat to the Americans Francisco Montana and Greg Van Emburgh 4: 6 and 2: 6. It wasn't until 1993 that Olli Rahnasto was able to celebrate his second title on the ATP Tour .
