The AFV 1–38 were passenger train - steam locomotives of the Alföld-Fiumaner Eisenbahn (Alföld-Fiumei Vasút, AFV).

The 38 machines were delivered between 1869 and 1872 by Maffei (18 pieces), by Krauss in Munich (10 pieces) and by Sigl in Wiener Neustadt (10 pieces).

In the course of the nationalization that took place in 1884, the Hungarian State Railways (MÁV) initially gave them the numbers 801–838, and from 1891 in the second designation scheme the category IIm with the numbers 1222–1259. As part of the new boiler, the MÁV machines also received the long smoke chamber typical of Hungary. In 1909 two copies were retired, from 1911 the remaining were listed as 237,001-036. Six of them came to the CFR in Romania after 1918 , the others were taken out of service by the MÁV by 1924.
