The Società Educazione Fisica Torres 1903 is an Italian football club from the on Sardinia lying Sassari . He is best known for his women's soccer team, which is Italy's record champions with seven championship titles and has won the Coppa Italia eight times .

SEF Torres 1903 was founded in April 1903. In the 1930s, the men's soccer team succeeded for the first time in the third division for several years, but was never able to assert itself nationwide despite several years in Serie C and Serie C1 . Among the club's best-known players who made a name for themselves at a higher level or internationally after their time at the club are the Italian national players Gianfranco Zola and Antonio Langella .

In 1980 the women's soccer team was founded as ACF Delco Costruzioni and later renamed itself to CUS Sassari . Under this name, the team rose to Serie B in 1989 and Serie A a year later . Led by Carolina Morace , who had scored 33 goals this season in 30 games this season, the club, now taking on as SS Torres FoS , won the championship title in Italy for the first time in 1994.
