action

The students Run Momoki ( 百 木 る ん ) and Tōru "Tōru" Ichii ( 一 井 透 / ト オ ル ) have been good friends since childhood. Run can be described as quite a fool, because she is always clueless and naive about even the simplest things, forgets the most important things and cannot concentrate for a long time without falling asleep. The one year younger and one class under run Tōru is the direct opposite. She thinks very grown-up for her age and is considered a model student. However, she is very short, so that her clothes are always too long. In addition, she has developed an almost extreme affection for run, so that she constantly follows her and z. B. also picked up from home every morning.

The manga begins at the point when Run is taken over into the second grade of the school and Tōru can finally go to the same school again, although it is a class below her. In doing so, she has to make a statement that is initially terrible for her. Run has made two new friends in the meantime. These are Yūko "Yūko" Nishi ( 西 由 宇 子 / ユ ー 子 ) and Nagisa "Nagi" Tennōji ( 天王寺 渚 / ナ ギ ), of which Tōru in particular sees Yūko as rivals for the love of Run. This is forced by the fact that Yūko is a real beauty in the eyes of the friends. Yūko, however, has no such interest, but repeatedly gets into embarrassing situations where she no longer knows how to react. Especially when it is provided by Tōru alone, who in this case also likes to be violent. Nagi, who wears glasses, has to struggle with her very own problems, which she would rather hide from others. But in particular the very vigilant Tōru keeps on finding out about it, so that it quickly becomes a problem for all four friends.
