Miyuki Sawashiro ( Japanese 沢 城 み ゆ き , Sawashiro Miyuki ; born June 2, 1985 in Nagano Prefecture ) is a Japanese voice actress ( seiyū ). She works for the Mausu Promotion agency .
biography
Born in Nagano Prefecture, she grew up in Tokyo Prefecture.
On May 2, 1999, at the age of 13, she attended an audition for the future anime series Di Gi Charat . Of the 525 applicants, Asami Sanada was the winner, but Miyuki Sawashiro received the special prize of the jury. As an unskilled dubbing actress, she was given a larger role in Petit Charat for her debut. In 2001 she attended a dubbing training facility associated with Mausu Promotion and was taken over by the agency in 2003.
While she was writing her university thesis in 2007, she joined the theater company Theater Gekidango (Theater 劇 団 子 ).
In 2008 she received the 3rd Seiyū Awards next to Aya Endō for the best supporting role for her roles such as Toshokan Sensō , Kannagi , PERSONA -trinity soul- and Kurogane no Linebarrel .
Miyuki Sawashiro also took leading roles in two Dojin -Anime: as Marisa Kirisame in Toho - Danmaku - Shooter film version Toho Niji Sosaku Dojin Anime: Musō Kakyo - A Summer Day's Dream and as a protagonist Hikari Hoshi ni Negai o: Fantastic Cat , the also came into theaters.
