Production and publication

The film was directed by Shinsuke Sato , who also wrote the script with Hirotaka Adachi. The music was composed by Tadashi Ueda and the character design was created by Ren Ishimori and Ryō Hirata . Masanobu Nomura was the artistic director . The anime was created by Studio Production IG .

The cinema premiere in Japan took place on August 22, 2009. Screenings at festivals in Italy, Taiwan and Lithuania followed in 2010. In Germany, the film was released on DVD on October 28, 2011 by WVG Medien.
