The ADA - austrian directors association Österreichischer Regieverband is the largest Austrian directors association for film , video and new media and is based in Vienna (Filmhaus Spittelberg). The more than 100 members are directors from the fields of feature film , advertising and commissioned films , documentaries , reports , music videos , installations and avant-garde .
The association is currently the chairman of the umbrella organization of Austrian filmmakers and is a member of the executive committee of the European Directors' Association (FERA for short) . ADA delegates are represented in almost all important bodies that affect the industry and Austrian film culture policy. The association works closely with the Austrian Film Director Association (specializing in feature length films), with which it not only connects common topics, but also common members.
