A Young Doctor's Notebook (in season A Young Doctor's Notebook & Other Stories is called) is a British television series of the station Sky Arts , which is broadcast since December 6, 2012 and on the short story collection doctor stories (in English translation: A Young Doctor's Notebook ) by the Russian author Mikhail Bulgakov . The series takes place shortly before the Russian Revolution in 1917 and is about the doctor Vladimir Bomgard ( Daniel Radcliffe ), who moves to the provinces and has to cope with everyday life there under the critical gaze of his older self ( Jon Hamm ).

The young doctor Vladimir Bomgard ( Daniel Radcliffe ), after completing his medical degree at the University of Moscow, moves to a small village, where he is the only doctor.
