Aage Pedersen (* 1921 in Odense , Denmark; † October 17, 1995 ) was a Danish electrical engineer .

From 1941 to 1948 he studied physics and electrical engineering at the Technical University of Copenhagen. In 1949 he made a study trip through Holland and England. He received a two-year scholarship to the University of Liverpool where he studied electrical discharges at high voltage.

After he returned to Denmark in 1953, he taught at the Technical University. In 1956 he went to the English Electrical Company , where he oversaw high voltage transformer tests. He then went to Sweden to ASEA, where he worked on high-voltage rotating machines and investigated epoxy as an insulation material for generator windings. In 1961 he returned to the Technical University of Copenhagen and taught physics and power engineering.
