Aaron Guzikowski

Aaron M. Guzikowski (born 1974 in Brockton , Massachusetts ) is an American screenwriter .

Life

Aaron M. Guzikowski studied art and film at the Pratt Institute in New York City . Guzikowski's first screenplay was made into a film with the thriller Contraband , which was released in 2012 and directed by Baltasar Kormákur . It is a remake of the Icelandic film Reykjavík Rotterdam . Originally, Prisoners was supposed to be Guzikowski's first film script. However, the story was not published in 2010 as originally planned. In autumn 2013, Prisoners finally came to the cinemas in a slightly modified version, directed by Denis Villeneuve .
