Jan (n) et Alegría Peña (born August 30, 1987 in Santiago de Querétaro ) is a Mexican Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 49 kilograms.

Alegría celebrated her first international successes at the Universiade in Bangkok in 2007 and in Belgrade in 2009 , where she reached the semi-finals in the class up to 51 kilograms and won bronze. At her first World Cup in Copenhagen in 2009 , she moved into the round of 16 in the class up to 49 kilograms. Alegría achieved her greatest sporting success so far at the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara . She reached the semifinals and won the bronze medal. At the American Olympic qualification tournament in her hometown, Alegría reached the final against Elizabeth Zamora and secured participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London . There she was defeated by Lucija Zaninović in the battle for the bronze medal.
