Aba (theologian)
Aba (* 4th century AD; † 4th / 5th AD) was a late antique Christian theologian and theological writer.
Aba is mentioned in the pseudepigraphic testament of Ephrem the Syrian (441–445 AD) as the first of his pupils. Only fragments are known of Aba's writings. They cover the Gospels , First Book of Samuel, and the Book of Job . Many of Aba's comments are apparently lost. A sermon on sin and mercy is only partially received.
