Abbi Jacobson
Abbi Jacobson (born February 1, 1984 in Wayne , Pennsylvania ) is an American actress .
Life
Jacobson grew up in Wayne, Pennsylvania. She attended Valley Forge Middle School and Conestoga High School . She later studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art . After graduating there in 2006, she moved to New York City . Here she briefly visited the Atlantic Acting Conservatory and became aware of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater . While taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater , she met Ilana Glazer .
Jacobson and Glazer produced the web series Broad City from 2009 to 2011 , in which the two played the leading roles at the same time. A television adaptation of the web series has been broadcast on Comedy Central since January 2014 . Jacobson and Glazer also play the leading roles here.
