Abbie Taddeo (born February 8, 1994 ) is an Australian hurdler who specializes in the 100 meter hurdles .

Athletic career

Abbie Taddeo gained her first international experience at the Commonwealth Youth Games 2011 in Douglas , where she won the silver medal in 13.72 seconds. The following year she took part in the Junior World Championships in Barcelona and was eliminated there with 14.05 s in the first round. At the IAAF World Relays 2015 in the Bahamas , she finished eighth in the Australian 4 x 100 meter relay in the B final in 45.70 seconds. In July she finished eighth in Gwangju Summer Universiade in 13.42 seconds. Even four years later she finished eighth in the Student World Games in Naples in 13.68 seconds and won the silver medal behind Switzerland in 43.97 seconds with the Australian relay.

In 2018 and 2019 Taddeo became Australian champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
