The Abbott Spur is an ice-covered mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the west side of the Royal Society Range , it separates the lower sections of the Rutgers Glacier and the Allison Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Robin R. Abbott (* 1952), coordinator for the implementation of helicopter missions on McMurdo Station in 1984.
