Abdelaziz "Aziz" Ahanfouf ( Central Atlas Tamazight ⵄⴰⴱⴷⵍⵄⴰⵣⵉⵣ ⴰⵃⴰⵏⴼⵓⴼ Ɛabdlɛaziz Aḥanfuf ; born January 14, 1978 in Flörsheim am Main ) is a former German - Moroccan football player .
Career
He took his first footballing steps at Eintracht Rüsselsheim before joining a professional team for the first time at the age of 19 at SpVgg Unterhaching at VfB Ginsheim , Offenbacher Kickers and VfB Stuttgart . He quickly established himself as a regular player and regular goalscorer for the then second division team. In 1999 he rose to the 1st Bundesliga with SpVgg, but then moved to Hansa Rostock . He came to MSV Duisburg via Dynamo Dresden and 1. FSV Mainz 05 , with whom he had his most successful time. After two years as a regular player with double-digit hits, he rose to the 1st Bundesliga in 2005 with MSV, where he was able to maintain his performance. Nevertheless, it was not enough for Duisburg to stay up this year.
Ahanfouf then stayed in the first division and moved to Arminia Bielefeld . There he was unlucky in his first season, when he was out most of the time after a fibula fracture and could only play six games. His contract with Arminia ran until 2009. In January 2008, he moved to SV Wehen Wiesbaden , where he received a contract until 2011. However, this was terminated at the end of 2008; Ahanfouf was terminated on January 19, 2009 with immediate effect. After a legal dispute, he received a settlement of 200,000 euros for the termination of the contract. On February 1, 2011 Ahanfouf received a contract until the end of the season with the then regional league club SV Darmstadt 98 , but mostly came only as a substitute for short appearances. On April 16, 2011 he scored the winning goal to make it 3-2 in the SV Darmstadt 98 game against KSV Hessen Kassel . This game marked the turning point in the promotion battle of the Regionalliga Süd, at the end of which SV Darmstadt 98 rose to the third division.
Ahanfouf has been a player-coach in the Dieburg-Odenwald regional league at SV Germania Babenhausen since August 2013.
National team
Ahanfouf played in six full international matches for the Moroccan national team in 2004 and 2005 .
