Abdolreza Kahani
Abdolreza Kahani ( Persian عبدالرضا کاهانی, Born December 22, 1973 in Nishapur , Razavi-Khorasan Province , Iran ) is an Iranian filmmaker . It owes its international fame to the film An Ja ("There"), which was awarded the Golden Alexander at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in 2008 .
biography
Abdolreza Kahani was born in Nishapur in 1973. From the age of 14 he began his training as a playwright, actor and theater director. He has received awards for some of his works at school and university festivals. In 1991 he graduated from high school in humanities in Nishapur and began studying theater and interpretation at the Azad Islamic University in Arak . In 1994 he received his bachelor's degree and began a master's degree in theater at Azad University in Tehran . In 1998 he left his master's thesis unfinished and gave up the academic career.
