Abdullah was a painter or ceramist of decorative ceramic tiles ( majolica ) in the Khiva Khanate . He was involved in the design of several outstanding buildings in the old town of Chiwas Ichan Qalʼа , now a UNESCO World Heritage Site . For example, with Usto Abdulla Ibadulla, he painted the intricate plant patterns in the area of ​​the summer mosque of the Khans' mosque in the Konya Ark citadel, built under Khan Alla Kuli (reign from 1825 to 1842) . He also decorated the Tasch Hauli palace, which was also built under Alla Kuli . Abdullah's name was immortalized in cartouches in his works . Because of his outstanding skills, the ceramic master was nicknamed the Djinn .
