Alla Kuli († 1842 ) was Khan of the Khiva Khanate .

Live and act

Alla Kuli Khan ruled from 1825 to 1842. During his reign, extensive construction work was carried out in Khiva , which is now part of the Ichan Qalʼа UNESCO World Heritage Site . He was in the citadel Konya Ark the Mosque of Khan's building which divided into a spatially closed winter mosque and the courtyard open summer mosque and with majolica is lined with intricate plant patterns. Alla Kuli Khan had a new urban center built in the east of the old town. The Medrese Churdshum was rebuilt, the much larger and more ornate Medrese Alla Kuli Khan was built. The latter received as Waqf the merchant passage Tim and the caravanserai Alla Kuli Khan immediately to the north .

The caravanserai opposite Alla Kuli Khan left the palace Tash Hauli build. Tasch Hauli was given extensive decor inside and is now a museum. In the harem of the palace Alla Kuli Khan had his private apartments and in the parade room Ischrat Hauli (Court of Pleasure) received his guests.

After his death, Alla Kuli Khan was buried in the necropolis of the Khans of Khiva at the Pahlawan Mahmud memorial. He was buried in an attached east wing .
