Théodore Richomme (born May 28, 1785 in Paris ; † September 22, 1849 there ) was a French engraver.

Théodore Richomme was a student of Jacques Joseph Coiny (1761-1809). He won the Prix ​​de Rome in 1806 . During his stay in Rome he made copper engravings based on the works of Raffaello Sanzio di Urbino and Giulio Romano . He also made engravings of works by his contemporaries such as François Gérard , Pierre-Narcisse Guérin and Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres . Some copper engravings were made from his own templates.

He was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1824 and a member of the Académie des beaux-arts in 1826 .

His students included his son Jules Richomme, Eugène Giraud , François Bouchot , Gustav Lüderitz , Fyodor Iwanowitsch Iordan , Eugène Giraud, Ephraïm Conquy, Charles-Victor Normand and Victor Florence Pollet .

A street in the 18th arrondissement of Paris bears his name.
