Abraham Bradley King

Sir Abraham Bradley King, 1st Baronet (born March 31, 1773 ; † February 27, 1838 in County Dublin ) was councilor of Dublin and held the office of Lord Mayor of the city from 1812 to 1813 and again from 1820 to 1821 ( Lord Mayor of Dublin ).

Abraham Bradley King was born on March 31, 1773, the second son of James King and Elizabeth Bradley. In 1801 he was Sheriff of Dublin . On January 30, 1805, he was elected Councilor of Dublin. As such, he held the post of Lord Mayor of the city from 1812 to 1813 and again from 1821 to 1822. On November 6, 1821, he was awarded the hereditary title of baronet by King George IV , of Corrard in the County of Fermanagh.

King was married to Anne Oulton since 1793. The marriage resulted in two sons and six daughters, including his title heir Sir James Walker King, 2nd Baronet (1796-1874). He died in 1838 at the age of 65.
