Abraham N. Poliak

Abraham Nahum Poliak (born September 2, 1910 in Kiev , † March 8, 1970 in Tel Aviv ) was an Israeli historian and professor of medieval history at Tel Aviv University .

Life

In 1923 he emigrated with his family to Palestine . Like Hugo von Kutschera and others before him, Poliak was of the opinion that the majority of Ashkenazi Jews were descendants of the Khazars , i.e. of Turkish and non-Semitic origins.
