Abraham von Werdt (born February 7, 1594 in Bern , † 1671 ibid) was a master tanner, Herr zu Toffen, Venner and Deutschseckelmeister of the city ​​and republic of Bern .

Abraham von Werdt was born as the son of Lienhard von Werdt and Lucretia Tillier in Bern. In 1614 he married Anna Knobloch and thus became master of Toffen . In his second marriage he married Barbara Lyoth in 1627 and in the third marriage Elisabeth Andreae, daughter of the Palatinate pastor Tobias Andreae, granddaughter of the Bible translator Johannes Piscator . In his fourth marriage he married Johanna von Ernau, widow of Rudolf von Hallwyl . Von Werdt joined the Grand Council of Bern in 1621, was Ohmgeldner von Burgern in 1629 and 1630, Landvogt zu Aarwangen from 1630 to 1636 and a member of the Small Council from 1637. He served as salt director and from 1644 as Venner zu Gerwern and from 1646 to 1653 and 1659 to 1666 Deutschseckelmeister, from 1667 to 1671 he was again Venner.

Through his first marriage he became the owner of Toffen Castle, and in 1639 he bought the Zimmerwald Castle .
