Aceyalone (born September 30, 1970 in Los Angeles ; real name Eddie Hayes ) is an American rapper and music producer . He gained international fame mainly as part of the hip-hop formation Freestyle Fellowship and as a co-founder of Project Blowed . In addition, his musical contributions to video games from the company 2K Games have made him known.

biography

Hayes's artistic career began in 1991 when he released the album To Whom It May Concern with the Freestyle Fellowship from Los Angeles . The musicians' association, which was founded in high school , represented with its debut album at that time a musical alternative to the commercially successful G-Funk around the Death Row Records record label and was stylistically assigned to the alternative hip-hop movement Native Tongues Posse from New York. The break of the Freestyle Fellowship after their second album Innercity Griots in 1993 is responsible for the fact that Aceyalone is now a solo artist. With the KAOS Network continuation known today as Project Blowed , Hayes and artist Abstract Rude began running a regular event in 1994 in a laundromat in north Los Angeles, which positions itself as an alternative to the mass market in the hip-hop scene. Over the years Eddie Hayes has published many projects as aceyalone, both alone and with various hip-hop artists. Among others with RJD2 , Abstract Rude or his most recently founded band "The Lonely Ones".
