Achim von Paczensky

Achim von Paczensky (born April 11, 1951 in Bad Saarow ; † December 26, 2009 in Wildau ; actually Hans-Joachim von Paczensky ) was a German actor, director and politician.

Von Paczensky was engaged by Christoph Schlingensief in 1993 for his film Terror 2000 . At that time von Paczensky was a patient at the Teupitz State Clinic . In the following years he played in cooperation with Schlingensief in various films, e.g. B. in Die 120 Tage von Bottrop (1997), and theater productions, for example in 100 Years CDU or Kühnen 94 at the Volksbühne Berlin or in the world premiere of the fragment Rosa Luxemburg by Bertolt Brecht at the Berliner Ensemble . In the 1998 federal election, Achim von Paczensky was the top candidate of the Chance 2000 party founded by Schlingensief . In the casting show parody Freakstars 3000 in 2003, von Paczensky co-directed Schlingensief.

In his funeral speech held in Wildau on January 6, 2010 at the funeral of Achim von Paczensky, Christoph Schlingensief described him as "the greatest actor in the world because he was authentic."
