The armpit is a 2673 m above sea level. A. high mountain peaks of the Umbal ridge in the Venediger group in East Tyrol ( Austria ). It is located in the northwest of East Tyrol in the municipality of Prägraten am Großvenediger . The mountain summit, which is insignificant from an alpine perspective, is the only two-thousand- meter peak in the Umbalkams that is named. The armpit lies on the east ridge of the Hohe Kreuz , which drops from the Hohe Kreuz into the Umbal Valley.
