Roller coaster (publisher)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The roller coaster Verlag was founded in summer 1991 by comic artist Rötger Feldmann and Jens Nieswand as a GmbH founded.

Products

The roller coaster publisher published u. a. following comics:

The best known product of the Achterbahn Verlag was the comic series Werner von Rötger Feldmann, which was published there from volume 7. After the bankruptcy of Achterbahn AG, however, this series was taken over by Egmont Ehapa Verlag . She has since been hired there as well.

IPO and bankruptcy

At the end of 1995 the Achterbahn Verlag was converted into the Aktiengesellschaft Achterbahn AG Buch-, Musik- und Filmverlag and was listed on the stock exchange in October 1997 in what was then the Neuer Markt segment . The share price at issue was 75 D-Marks , the issue was 65 times oversubscribed .

In 1999 the turnover of Achterbahn AG was the equivalent of 14.5 million euros. The highest level of the stock market price was in August 1999 at 84 D-Marks per share, which with 400,000 shares corresponded to an enterprise value of 33.6 million DM.

The company introduced in autumn 2002, the local court in Kiel for bankruptcy and went into 2003 bankruptcy . Some sole proprietorships of the AG, such as Nieswand Druck and the Achterbahn Verlag, were continued as GmbH.

Further development

From 2003 to 2005 Christian Dreller was the publishing director of Achterbahn Verlag in cooperation with Lappan Verlag . In 2005 Lappan converted the publishing house into the roller coaster segment in Lappan Verlag GmbH , based in Oldenburg . The supervision and marketing of the image rights remained under the management of "Mulli" in Kiel.

At the end of January 2011, Achterbahn AG, which had not yet been canceled at the time, was briefly the subject of stock market speculation during the production of a Werner cartoon, and it was presumably wrongly assumed that it was involved in the production of the film (this was, however, produced exclusively by Constantin Film ) . The still listed share price of Achterbahn AG multiplied within a few days.
