Eight fight (gymnastics)
Eight battle was a multi-discipline -Disziplin in artistic gymnastics women with the disciplines of balance beam , uneven bars , jumping and floor exercises . In the eight fight there were four compulsory and four freestyle disciplines . The male counterpart was the Twelve Fight . The eight-way fight was Olympic until 1996 , then it was replaced by the four-way fight , in which there are the same sports but only one freestyle.
