history

Actas was founded on July 6, 1998 by Hiroshi Katō, who had previously worked for Ashi Productions .

In 2000, the studio's first anime production was released with the adaptation of Kōsuke Fujishima's manga éX-Driver, and in 2002, éX-Driver: The Movie, the first feature film. The first television series was Pachislo Kizoku Gin from 2001, with Actas appearing here as a producer and not as an animation studio, so that the first television series in which the studio was responsible for the animations appeared in 2003 with Transformers: Armada .
